Yin Yoga 

This class runs every Friday from 9:30-10:30 am

 A quiet yoga, Yin is a gentle practice with floor only postures held for a longer period - typically 3-5 minutes. In contrast to most styles of Yoga, Yin concentrates focus on the fascia, connective tissue, and bones. It's subtle work goes straight to the core of the body increasing our range of motion and improving our well-being. The some times intense non movement allows muscles to relax and deep connective tissue to be stretched gently. It assists you to relax and practice self acceptance while taking you to your meditative roots!

Do I need to book ahead of time?

What can you tell me about the instructor?

We are fortunate to be welcoming Theresa Venz to the MBH team. She is an experienced Yoga Australia accredited teacher as well as a certified Yoga Therapist. She is an accomplished Yin Practitioner with a background in Shiatsu massage, as well as Iyengar, Astanga, Vinyasa, and Restorative Yoga. 

She is passionate about conscious, natural living and believes strongly that a regular gentle yoga practice is an essential tool in preventative health as well as pain management and the healing of disease.
